About Me
Hi, I'm Nekolina. I'm from Oregon, but I've been based in Bristol, England since 2006. I have a wide variety of different creative interests and have worked as a freelancer since 2014.
My studio space in Windmill Hill is where I focus on my crafty endeavours as a designer maker, creating handmade jewellery, accessories and homewares. In addition, I occasionally work doing art direction for film projects including costume, makeup, props and set design.
I spent ten years working in-house on external communications for charities and non-profits, building brand awareness, managing online content and designing print publications. Now I freelance, helping artists, small businesses and charities to manage their online presence and social media. I do photography and help create portfolios as well.
I have also been running a boutique charity shop called Treasure in the heart of Stokes Croft for the past three years, where I lead an all-female team and run a weekly women's group. I'm interested in the sustainable fashion movement, eco-conscious living and upcycling.
When I'm not hard at work, I like to enjoy good food, cooking, travelling, road trips, festivals, music and riding my vintage bike around town. I am also a Pinterest and eBay addict!
